Just be honest with your doctor. You're not talking to the police.

I'm not the police, but in my experience, if you say you use cannabis, doctors totally ignore what you say.

They ask vague questions like "Do you have bad days?" and then write depression in the record that insurance companies can see.

I told the anesthesiologist before knee surgery that I smoke weed, and even 15 years later my chart still says "history of illegal drug abuse." So... I think I'd tell the person who turns your brain back on, but my primary doctor doesn't need to know anything anymore.
