A question for home builders. I'm putting together plans for a house, and I was planning a media room with a 100-plus-inch screen, surround sound, theater seating and so on. But I can't find a single expat on YouTube or Facebook who has one. Is that just not done there? Thanks in advance!
Be yourself, who cares what other expats are doing! If you want it, just do it! Anything's possible with pesos!!!!!
Finding quality gear here is a challenge. It's all Chinese junk😂
My buddy (RIP) simply turned a small bedroom into his man cave. Regular foam for acoustics, JBL multi-point speakers, a split-type AC, and a regular couch along one end. I think the room was only 3x4 meters.
Check out the Hisense laser projector. 120 inches from a small projector, maybe 10 x 10". Mine's mounted on the ceiling; it's sharp, clear and bright and doesn't put out much heat.
Projector screens are the way to go. It's not smart to show off things that could make you a target.
