It's actually way easier than I thought. These people are "horror movie intelligence" personified. They don't even start looking for their keys until they're at the door. They also have way too many keys. Who carries that many keys? Some people might, but I doubt you would if you lived on a cul-de-sac like they seem to. I'd have my keyring out before I got to the door, and I've got exactly TWO keys on it. Easy to find the right one. Except I lied. I wouldn't reach for my keys at all or stop at my door. I'd just keep running. You think a door is going to stop him?
