Remember when cable and satellite TV had 5 minutes of commercials between your shows? Remember when streaming was so attractive because you paid $10 a month and watched whatever you wanted with no commercials? Now people pay as much every month for several streaming services as a top-tier DirectTV package would have cost, and they still get ads.

I remember in Hulu's early days they didn't have many advertisers, but they were still set on running a certain number of ads, so we'd see the same Chrome ad over and over and over, back to back..
