Does anyone know about this new convention center being built?
I only just found out about it.
Out in Manila Bay… on reclaimed land in Pasay Harbor City.
27 billion pesos.
Government funded.
It's supposed to be one of the biggest convention facilities in Southeast Asia.
Big trade shows and conventions are a tough business. Can Manila steal events away from Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore??
The information online is confusing, and a bit underwhelming for such a huge project. I pulled a few renderings and a map from online.
Conventions need supporting infrastructure, need I say more.....

It'll never get finished.
They just ruined Manila Bay. It used to be beautiful there, but now all you can see is ugly, dirty islands. And the Conrad lost its appeal.
Fix that dump of an airport NAIA first, then maybe
