Has anyone actually had dental implants done in the Philippines?
How does it compare to all those ads for dental work in Vietnam?

Go to Vietnam. Philippine dentists are terrible
I went to Green Apple in Cebu Best ever
Go to Bangkok International Dental Clinic. Very low cost compared to the US, and they were much better about getting me the information I needed before flying. They were also very fast, efficient, clean, and simply the best. They asked me for some basic X-ray files and a 3D image of my mouth so they could give me more exact details, and they gave me lots of options at different price levels. When I contacted the best clinic in the Philippines, they finally got back to me after three weeks and said they couldn't offer any information until they saw me in person.. even though I sent the same files I sent to Bangkok. Nothing was set in stone with Bangkok, but at least they gave me options based on what they could see, while telling me things could change once they saw me. Bangkok International Dental Clinic is the best and most respected. Friends in the Philippines said you can get it cheap at local clinics, but I wasn't looking for cheap. I wanted long-term quality at a good price, and I wasn't going to give up quality for a cheaper procedure.
Just be careful in the Philippines — a number of clinics are run by unlicensed Vietnamese dentists… basically scam centers. You get your implant posts… then if you go back to your home country while they heal… they ghost you and don't answer calls or messages. Three in Manila have been shut down, plus one in Cebu that I know of. There are good dentists here, just do your research… if it's too cheap, that's a big red flag
I trust the Chinese more
