Christmas Day recommendations, please

My husband and I recently moved to Manila from Dubai, and this will be our first Christmas here.

We're British, so we'd love to find a nice place for Christmas Day lunch, ideally with a proper festive atmosphere and things like turkey or roast beef.

We live in Rockwell/Makati, but we're happy to travel elsewhere in Metro Manila if it's somewhere really good.

We've been looking at places like The Peninsula, Fairmont/Raffles and Shangri-La, but we'd love recommendations from expats/Westerners who've actually spent Christmas here.

Where have you had a really good Christmas lunch? A hotel buffet, a restaurant, or somewhere we might not have thought of?

We're not looking for the cheapest option, just somewhere that feels special and properly Christmassy.

Thank you!

Hotel buffets. Last year we went to the Grand Hyatt.

You could try the big hotels you mentioned, but also check out Wolfgang or Dillengers (not sure I spelled that right), in case they have Christmas menus.

I haven't been, but friends enjoyed the Christmas lunch at Vikings next to Mall of Asia.
