I'm planning to stay in the Philippines from November to April. For US expats who do this, how did you file your US tax return? Did you file while you were in the Philippines, or after getting back to the US?

I go home every 1–2 years and file then. I never owe anything; I don't earn enough to be taxable, so no worries
