Has anyone taken a Victory Liner bus, especially from Manila (Pasay) to Baguio, and especially with a dog?
I've been emailing back and forth with a booking agent.
They said the online booking system isn't working right now, and told me to just show up on the day I want to travel and buy a ticket.
I'm wondering whether there'll be two seats left on the 10:15 AM · 11:15 AM · 1:15 PM departures. I have to buy one ticket for me and a separate one for my dog.
Has anyone tried to get a same-day ticket and run into trouble?
Victory is one of two companies that will take a dog, and their requirements for her are easier to meet than the other option's.

Express services are best — much quicker, fewer stops.
Just go to the bus station and buy your tickets. There's usually a bus waiting for passengers. Just get on it, unless you'd rather wait for the next one so you can pick your seats.
Just make sure you get there at least an hour before departure, and avoid traveling on weekends and in peak season.
Remember “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”? You need to take a leap of faith. Either there'll be a seat or you'll be on the next bus. I took it years ago. I've gotten lazy in my old age and just hire drivers now.
