My kid is a GC holder

I want to send my 10-year-old son back to the Philippines on his own.
We only have his Philippine passport. What documents should be shown at the airport when he flies back?
Does he need to bring his GC to travel to the Philippines?
Any recommendations for airlines that handle minors well?
Thank you.

What's a GC?

Airline escort service

Pick an airline that flies nonstop on the international leg. You don't want your child changing planes at a foreign airport. When you book, tell the agent the child will be traveling unaccompanied and ask to add the airline's unaccompanied minor (UM) service to the reservation. The airline will escort your child through the airport and immigration procedures and hand them over to the designated adult in the Philippines. Book directly with the airline, not through an online travel agency like Expedia or Kiwi.

Of course he needs to carry his GC. Maybe someone else can recommend an airline.

Slip the cabin attendant $20 and confirm the airline allows unaccompanied kids on international flights. Get a gate pass from the agent at check-in, then push the kid onto the plane and wish him good luck?
