My girlfriend finally put in the back seat divider, and someone isn't happy about it

That's a goldendoodle look of 'you've annoyed me, so one day I'll gnaw on your still-warm body'. I get that look when the mandatory whipped cream tax isn't up to standard.
Lol my poodle can hear the 'psssshhht' of a whipped cream can from 100 yards away and sprints over every single time.
Haha seriously
It's staring into my soul.
It's a sheep in dog's clothing.
Just wondering, isn't it safer to have them in the back seat clipped into a harness? Like, would they be okay if you got rear-ended?
Kind of depends on the hatch. Mine is tiny, basically crate-sized. With the divider (mine is much sturdier than the OP's and bolts into the headrest mounts), she'd probably be fine in an accident. It's way easier and does less damage to the seats. In my SUV she has a section that's a third of the back by width and two-thirds by height, also bolted at several points into the shelf on my MOLLE rack, same logic. Unless you put in a full dog hammock, most dogs are more comfortable on a flat surface and will actually rest, you can carry passengers, and you're not constantly hauling a pile of dog gear in and out. I only use the belt harness on the very rare occasions she rides in one of my roadsters. She doesn't like it and neither do I. Wherever she sits, she still presses the window buttons and my shifter.
You still wake up sometimes, don't you? You wake up in the dark and hear the lambs screaming.
I think the girlfriend has to go
'I'll get you for this, Susan'
