In grade school, my friends and I faked one of us falling off the jungle gym and getting hurt as an April Fools' joke. Later that day we all got called into the office, and our teacher and the principal went on about how we shouldn't do that, it wasn't funny, someone could have actually needed help and not gotten it, and so on. And they said we were all getting paddled for it. Then the principal pulled out the big paddle and had the first kid stand up. And they both shouted, "April Fools!" They got us so good.

I knew it, but I still watched it and smiled.

This is sweet. Usually men only get flowers after they die.
