For those of you who moved to the Philippines, what was your reason?

Did you want a change of life and the Philippines appealed to you, or were you hoping to meet someone and find a partner?

Way cheaper than most other countries, the locals are more respectful, the weather's great, and there are lots of beaches to visit. Lots of different reasons. Overall, the Philippines is great.

I married a Filipina 50 years ago. I promised her that if she could handle following me around the world while I was in the military, then once we retired we'd live wherever she wanted. So far that means splitting our time between the two countries, on the condition that once travel gets too hard for either of us, we move to the Philippines for good

Because my Filipina wife was cheating on me in America. So I filed for divorce (yes, I got divorced over Zoom) and came here without her to find a good Filipina. She's stuck in America, I have no contact with her, and I've been here for years. Life's good😊

I needed a cheap, warm place to hang out on my days off, with beer, beaches and brown girls! I worked internationally on drilling rigs, and if I stayed outside the US my tax rate was almost zero! Almost 50 years later, I'm still here.

I came here to get away from stupid questions on Facebook. Alas, they followed me
