I hate to be that guy, but those ring-shaped bones are really risky for dogs. It's super common for them to get stuck around the upper or lower jaw, behind the teeth. Not as bad as a bone splinter in the gut, but it happens a lot.

They're also way, way too hard on their teeth for chewing.

I had to get some of my boy's teeth pulled because of those. I gave them to him for way too long. Some teeth were cracked, others were worn right down to the gumline. He had 9 teeth removed. The roots were still healthy and solid, so the surgery took all day. It was a mess.

Years ago this happened to one of my dogs. I had rough collies, and their jaws are narrow. It was horrible seeing my poor girl in total panic with that thing locked behind the canines in her lower jaw. It took a trip to the vet to saw it off. I scoop out the marrow and give them that.
