Hello, everyone in the group.
I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer that puts my worries to rest.
So apologies in advance to anyone this bothers.
I have two questions about the Onwardticket site.
As I understand it, the ticket becomes invalid 48 hours after it's issued.
Should I put the dummy ticket date as my departure date on the eTravel declaration?
Has anyone been asked for the ticket by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) when applying for the 29-day visa waiver extension?
Thank you for your time and advice.
Sometimes they do ask.
I bought a round-trip ticket from ANA because it was cheaper than one-way. Then I cancelled the return flight and they refunded it minus some fees.
I believe the dummy ticket is valid for 48 hours from when you pay for it.
Use the date on your ticket so it matches. Once you're through immigration at the local airport, none of it matters. When you extend, they won't ask anything about when you plan to leave. They only care once you hit the 3-year mark.
Bureau of Immigration, Republic of the Philippines I've never had an onward ticket, just a return ticket for a few months later. Read what it says on the BI website.
