Hi, I'm flying a long way from Türkiye so I don't want to pack too many clothes. How much do everyday clothes cost on Siargao Island?
Siargao is really expensive. A single T-shirt starts at 500
Just curious... what does the distance or length of the flight have to do with packing clothes? Depending on your size, you may have a hard time finding clothes that fit. Pack enough clothes to cover your stay.
Better check your size. Most clothes in the Philippines are obviously sized for locals. If you're a big guy, you're better off packing.
If you're fine with generic Chinese clothing, just check your size at a local store and buy from online platforms like Shopee or Lazada. Most of what's sold on the island comes from there anyway.
A traveler from Türkiye was planning his flight, And stared at his suitcase deep into the night. "Siargao awaits! The beaches! The sun! But lugging my T-shirts just doesn't sound fun." "The flight is so long, what on earth should I do? Can I buy some shorts once I finally get through? Some flip-flops, a tank top, maybe underwear? Surely Siargao sells clothing down there!" Then Reddit appeared with its wisdom profound: "What does flight length have to do with packing less?" And followed it up with a practical blow: "Depending on your size... good luck finding a fit." So pack your suitcase, dear traveler, with care, Shorts, shirts and undies, and one extra spare. Eighteen hours of flying won't shrink what you wear... And Siargao's no nudist resort when you get there. 😂
