Toothpaste contains xylitol. I hope that toothbrush was rinsed really well.
Xylitol isn't extremely toxic to cats the way it is to dogs. A decent amount will give them the runs, though.
Yeah, a while back I caught my Sphynx licking my toothbrush and had to have a talk with her. She acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. Here she is, pleading her innocence.
