NFCU just told me that to keep using our credit cards overseas, we have two options.

1) Log in every 30 days and submit a travel notice (very annoying)

2) Change the address on file to our PH address

The person I spoke with said there's no way to set a note for longer than 30 days.

Can anyone confirm this?

Use another bank

That's why I have an account with USAA. They don't do that. I've been here on and off for 11 years and never had a problem

I didn't want any surprises, so I changed my NFCU address when I moved. NFCU doesn't care what country you live in. Other banks might. 😎🍹🏝️

Permanent notice worked

Maybe it's just that bank I've been here 21 years. I put a permanent notice that I'm traveling in Asia until further notice Never had any issues

It's true

Reporting travel plans takes less than 5 minutes.
