I'm heading to Cebu for about half the year starting in mid-November, along with my fiancé (I'm from Ontario, Canada). I'm looking for a good place to stay that's close to my fiancé's home in Cordova, but also near the sea.
My biggest concern is health insurance. Where can I find decent coverage at a reasonable price? Would anyone with experience be willing to share their recommendations? Also, are there places where my fiancé and I could meet other Canadians or foreigners?

This person was asking about health insurance, not a house, and real estate agents answered like crazy 😂 Look into Medicard Philippines, it's one of the good-value HMOs here in Cebu.
My husband and I are also Canadian. We liked New Town in Mactan (we own a unit there, though we're not retired or living there full-time). If you get bored, there's also a bus to the Cebu City IT Park. I'm not sure where other Canadians meet up, but if you search older posts, I'm pretty sure you'll see meetups in Cebu City.
