Philippines 2-Month Trip
Hello,
I'm planning to travel to the Philippines from December to January, and I would really appreciate any advice or tips you can share.
I'll be staying in Makati for about a month.
Thank you!
What exactly are you planning to do in Makati for a whole month?
Advice: Being polite is fine, but don't act too familiar, or you'll come across as naive and gullible. Make your own plans and stick to them. Enjoy yourself.
There's nothing wrong with staying in Makati. Ignore the echo chamber saying "Bangkok is better!!!!1!11!1!!" This subreddit is a club of losers who thought they were gods' gift to Filipino women back home, only to find out they're losers here too, and now they're stuck. What do you want to do?
It depends on the person, but here are a few places near Makati... (1) Instead of flying, take a bus to Batangas and then a boat to Boracay. On the boat, definitely get an upgraded cabin, or you'll regret it. (2) Puerto Galera is close to Batangas. You can go for a 4-5 day trip. (3) Tagaytay - it's high up, so it's cool. Bulalo restaurants. (4) Baguio - split up your trip. Spend 1-2 days in Angeles City on the way. (5) My favorite restaurant in Makati is The Firefly, on the top floor of City Garden Grand. Good luck
