Well, I wouldn't say it's broken. I don't think I've ever seen subtitles overlaid on a video that were this accurate, though.

Normally you're supposed to transition smoothly from one pole to the next. If a pole comes off completely, that's usually just a fall. So it's not that it broke, it just did what it normally does when it falls.
