Best cordless tool brands for building in Palawan

Hi expats, cordless tools, drills, circular saws and so on... What's a good mid-priced brand, or let's say low end vs high end.. I'll be doing a lot of home building projects.. handyman stuff...

I'll mostly be buying in Palawan, PPC.

What do you use and like best😄

I sent all my Ryobi tools over in balikbayan boxes. Yes, I know Ryobi isn't top tier, but it gets the job done for average home DIY work. Plus I'd already paid for them, so I saved money by not buying new stuff and only needed a 220V charger from Shopee, which was cheap.

Ingco. My business is custom cabinets for high-end homes. We've switched almost entirely to Ingco power tools. We used to use Hilti, Bosch and Makita. Look for a good dealer in Palawan, or even on Shopee.

You can't go wrong with Makita and Milwaukee for the popular cordless tools. The problem is finding genuine ones here. A lot of the 'name brand' tools you see online are knockoffs. Basically cheap copies. When a heavy-duty chipping hammer costs $500 or $600 in North America and you can get the same brand here for 1,500 pesos, you know something's not right. I'd suggest going to the big retailers like Wilson and buying there, not because the tools are better but because they honor the warranty. I've done this a few times with no issues.
