Are there any other companies besides Starlink that can be used in the Philippines?

I've read about Kacific, WIT/Philsat, and Amazon Kuiper (coming soon).

Does anyone here have experience with these companies, or know of any local providers in Central Luzon offering satellite services other than Starlink?

I'm using Starlink and it works well, but I want to switch.

Short answer: there isn't one. Starlink would be your best bet.

What exactly are you trying to do? There are many options depending on the area, but most of them are considerably worse in performance, stability, speed, or price. Some have their advantages, though. It depends on what you need and want.

I'm interested in this too, especially Kacific and OneWeb. We're building redundancy for 24-hour alert reception and a security operations center in Bacolod, and if there's a viable alternative, we'd like to move away from Starlink. From what I've found so far, Kacific already offers enterprise satellite backup services in the Philippines, and OneWeb is interesting as a low-latency alternative, but local availability and pricing are less clear. Amazon Leo (formerly Kuiper) has not yet been commercially launched here. For us, stability and a truly independent connection matter more than download speed figures. I'm looking at combining separate satellite or wireless links from several fiber providers and setting up automatic failover. Also, from the comments, it seems we both want to drop Starlink for the same personal reasons. 😄 No need to explain! I'd really like to hear from anyone who has actually used Kacific, PhilSat's non-Starlink services, or OneWeb in the Philippines, especially on real uptime, latency, cost, and support.

Rise Communications and Infinivan are both commercial fiber providers. They don't serve most areas.
