Ordinary People of Chino Roces
I really love walking. That's probably part of why my personal brand is called Lakbay Lore.
I walked from Palanan to La Fuerza Plaza in Chino Roces, near the Magallanes MRT station, to see Lindslee's "The Grand Scheme of Things."
The exhibit uses sculptures to show the many different kinds of people you find in Filipino society.
But as I walked toward La Fuerza, I started to feel like the exhibit had already begun. Just walking along Chino Roces, you see the different faces, personalities, and stories of the people you pass on the street.
I find it funny that the journey itself to see an exhibit about our society gave me a chance to see that art in real life before I even got to the gallery.
As they say, "Art imitates life, and life imitates art."
I did a double take wondering why there was a giant cat on top of the jeepney 😂
Please blur people's faces. You may want to take the photo, but you don't know if the people in it want to be photographed.
The guy by the Pepsi could be a meme. His mouth is wide open, like he's still sleepy.
To me it will always be Pasong Tamo. Not that I'm disrespecting Chino Roces. I just hate how politicians rename roads (e.g., Roosevelt → FPJ). Anyway, the cat is cute.
