Heading home
I'm not taking sides, but he shouldn't have parked the motorcycle right in the middle of the road...
Same here. He stood in the middle of the road with a motorcycle taking up 20% of a narrow street, sitting on it looking at his phone. He was basically testing fate. Glad he wasn't hurt.
The fact that the driver swerved and still hit him means there was plenty of room to avoid hitting a person on a bike on purpose.
Yeah, that's basically the definition of defending the driver. That motorcycle had a taillight with a reflector. The turn signals also act as passive reflectors. The person sitting on it was wearing bright clothes. The bike was parked really close to the edge of the road. There was no no-parking sign in that section either. The driver was either drunk, not paying attention, or a jerk. Defending someone like that is just dumb.
Both can be true at once. The driver should have been paying attention, and the owner shouldn't have parked on the road.
Wait, so he did it on purpose?
100% on purpose. In Egypt, if you act like that, the car will smack your butt with its side mirror.
Smack your butt? If the car is going fast, that's not really a butt smack anymore.
Why do videos show you what's going to happen before they play? I really hate that.
This video plays three times inside one gif, each time at a completely different point in time. Your generation is seriously doomed.
