Ahh, heaven.
Just glad to see Rocket made it.
Rocket needs to go on a diet
Apparently raccoons are total sweethearts as pets or friends until they hit puberty. After that they turn into absolute little bastards. I'm only repeating what I've read...
I still remember this post from a couple of years ago. My urge to have a pet raccoon vanished pretty fast as I read on. https://www.reddit.com/r/Raccoons/comments/1c30qs5/sometimes_you_wake_up_like_this_and_sometimes_you/

Damn it, I want to domesticate them so bad, but I know it's wrong to even think that way. I just want a dog that can open my kitchen cabinets and pass out in a family-size bag of Cheerios.
Don't worry, they're domesticating themselves and couldn't care less what you think about it. I mean that as gently as possible, by the way. It's pretty much inevitable because it works out so well for raccoons.
The little raccoon gang in my backyard isn't the least bit afraid of me. They knock over my trash cans, rip open the bags, dig out corn cobs or avocados and chow down, staring at me the whole time. Full eye contact. This spring the big fat mama raccoon brought her babies along, and I swear one of them scoffed at me as it walked by.
That's one chunky raccoon
Right?! Looks like it needs a little less pampering and a lot more scampering
