NAIA Terminal 3 money changers
Lots of people here say not to exchange money at NAIA. They don't know what they're talking about
Yesterday the benchmark rate was 62.61.
At T3 the rate was 62.45! T3 always has the highest rate.
Around town the best rate was 62.25. Most were 62.20.
The money changers past baggage claim at T3 are legit banks and give the best rates possible. No need to go anywhere else.
Yes, NAIA is fine for exchanging money. I think a lot of guys just hear that the airport is a rip-off and repeat it without knowing the truth.
Listen to the voice of experience. There's no need to bring a lot of cash, maybe $200 at most, and no need to exchange much at NAIA anyway. There are several ATMs in the terminal. Your US debit card should work in them, and if it doesn't, you need a different bank. Charles Schwab reimburses ATM fees every month.
I've always felt it was fair. Maybe a little nerve-racking when exchanging large amounts, since you never know who's watching. But I've never felt unsafe either.
Wise is 62.74, so 🤷🏻♂️
