Hi, I'm moving to the Philippines next month - when and how do I apply for the alien ID card?
Thanks

It happens automatically with your second extension.

It's called an ACR card, and you can pay for one at the immigration office, usually when you pay for a visa extension. It runs about 4,700 pesos a year.

FYI, a super El Niño will bring very humid air from the Pacific to most Asia-Pacific countries. If you're used to your current weather, I'd suggest postponing until July 2027 for your own sake
