Most people in this sub seem to be Filipino.

And for that reason, this sub doesn't hold up.

For what it's worth, a Filipino can also be an expat.

If the majority are Filipinos, then they must be a very quiet majority. Judging by how the comments are full of complaints and cynicism, you're definitely an expat.

And most of them are bitter Filipinos. They don't represent the Filipinos I meet and hang out with every day.

I'm Filipino and grew up in the Philippines. I emigrated to a Western country almost 20 years ago and settled there. When I go to the Philippines, I don't feel like a "Filipino" anymore, so I hang out here. I don't understand Filipino culture, the behavior and attitudes of Filipino Gen Z, or their slang. I feel like I connect more with expats and Western people than with locals.
