Hi everyone! I'd like to get a lung checkup (a lung scan, if possible). I live near Dumaguete, but I'm willing to travel as far as Cebu or Manila if I can get properly checked.
If you have any recommendations in Dumaguete, that would be great too.
I'm looking for a hospital with a reputable, experienced lung specialist. I don't really trust the hospitals around here.

Many answers point to Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City. In Dumaguete, some say Silliman Medical Center has a pulmonologist. Some people recommend St. Luke's in Manila, and others suggest going abroad, such as to Bangkok.
This June I was treated for a heart attack and pneumonia at Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City. The hospital is modern and the care was excellent.

Chong Hua Hospital and Cebu Doctors' University Hospital in Cebu City are also well-established hospitals with specialist care. Before getting a lung scan, I suggest booking an appointment with a pulmonologist (respiratory medicine) first. The doctor will look at your symptoms and decide whether you need a chest X-ray, CT, pulmonary function tests, and so on.
