I love grilling meat. Chicken, pork, beef, etc. Charcoal is easy to find, but lighter fluid isn't. Without it, it's hard to keep the local stuff burning. Is there another option? What do you all use?
Thanks for answering.

Okay, here's the trick. Roll paper towels up into turd shapes. Soak them in cooking oil. Lay them in the bottom of the grill in an X. Use coconut charcoal pieces to build a little cave over the paper towels. Light the center of the X, then cover it with wood charcoal. In about 10 minutes you'll have a fire you can cook on.

Buy a welding torch that fits on standard butane cans

Start with dry wood, then add the charcoal. We do it all the time, it's easy

Use a plastic bag from the sari-sari store for that authentic microplastic flavor

A chimney is great. If you don't have one, stack the charcoal in a pyramid and put kindling, as dry as possible, in the small gaps. Mostly you're fighting the humidity
