Northern Samar, Laoang Car–Bus Collision — 59-Year-Old Teacher Dies

📌 On the morning of Tuesday, November 3, a car driven by a 59-year-old teacher collided with a passenger bus on the national highway in Barangay Burabod, Laoang, Northern Samar, and the teacher died.

■ What Happened
· According to the Inquirer, Laoang police's initial investigation found that the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when the teacher's car crossed into the bus's lane.
· The teacher was taken to G.B. Tan Memorial Hospital but was confirmed dead on arrival.
· The bus driver (44) was also injured, received first aid at the scene, and was then taken to the hospital.

■ Investigation / Current Status
· Laoang police are holding both vehicles and continuing their investigation.

· On provincial national highways, do not cross the center line, and slow down when large buses or trucks are approaching from the opposite direction.
