This October 30th I'll have been married to my dream-come-true wife for 12 beautiful years. We built a lovely house in a small part of Cebu province, 10 minutes from the beach. During the year we go back to the States so I can see my VA doctor and get my meds. In January my wife wants to further her medical education and go back to school under VA Chapter 35. We also have a small condo in Las Vegas, so we'll stay there during her school breaks and come back, until she graduates again. The Philippines is our paradise. Happy anniversary.
I met my husband in 1991. There was no internet or social media back then, so we wrote letters to each other all the time. Then in May 1993 he decided to visit the Philippines and we got married, and he went back to the US and filed my immigrant visa. I arrived in the US on February 1, 1994. We just celebrated 33 years and we have 2 kids.
My Filipina wife and I were married for 38 years before the angels took her away. We met while we were both living in France, then lived in the Netherlands, the Philippines, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia before coming back to the Philippines for 17 years of happy retirement.
