Damn China
Just throw it in the washing machine. Whatever happens, it was going to happen anyway. The sturdy clothes survive, and the weak ones don't. I don't need weak clothes.
Put everything in, set it to cold, press start, and you're done. Don't use dryer sheets on towels. That's about all the rules I follow.
Wait, why shouldn't you use dryer sheets on towels?
Dryer sheets leave a waxy coating on clothes. It's fine for clothes, but the coating keeps towels from absorbing water. That's the whole point of towels, though. Learned something! 🌈🌟
There's a big generational gap here. Clothes were totally different 35 years ago. A lot of them needed ironing, a lot of them couldn't be ironed, and there were many more dry-clean-only items, many more hand-wash-only items, and many more that had to be laid flat to dry. Things also bled color more and shrank more. People wore suits to work much more often, too. And clothes cost a lot more.
I'll ask *your* mom over breakfast.
Sounds good, my mom makes the best breakfast. Can I come too? What time is everyone meeting?
The washing instructions are all printed right there on the label. If you don't understand them... ask your mom ;)
So I'm supposed to wash at 40°F, avoid triangles, iron with my eyes, and pee in a circle?
