Is Metro Manila a good place to live?

Apart from Makati and BGC, most of Manila is dirty and smelly garbage dump. There's trash everywhere, the traffic is terrible, and the poverty is exhausting. It's the Philippine city I hate most.

I once walked past a man masturbating inside a sleeping bag, so I guess it's a bit like Night City.

I was robbed in Manila, so if you have other options, I wouldn't recommend living here. Criminals here can easily get weapons, so public transport is scary, and every time I go out I pray for my life. I've never once felt safe as a foreigner living here.
