If you're a single guy who wants to live near Mactan Island and meet nice local people, how much income would you need to live comfortably?

To meet people?? That's where the budget skyrockets lol. Just living alone is better 🤣

I've been in Mactan for a year. It depends on how you want to live. Lots of people live on 2k. But you get what you pay for. Those people are content with a small place, don't travel, don't go out often, and don't have things like beach toys. It's like living as the American middle class. With 4-5k you live like the American upper class. You travel more, live in a nicer place, eat out more. With 8k or more you live like a king and do whatever you want whenever you want

Depends on the condo. Basic condos like One Pacific or 8 Newtown Blvd are 30-35k. Decent condos like Tambuli are 50k. I live in a basic studio and my girlfriend and I spend $2,000 a month together. But the condo is a huge variable.
