I'm arriving in Manila on November 4, 2026
Where are good places to meet people? I'd like to meet other retired foreigners.

I plan to stay 30 days, extend for another 30, and then apply for the SRRV (retirement visa).

I don't drink much, but I don't mind hanging out with people who do.

Also, the best place to meet women in person.

Malls and cafรฉs

If you're older and in Manila: a lot of the older men have spots in the malls where they hang out. Especially where there are tables and chairs outside the grocery store. Starbucks and places like that too, if they have outdoor seating. I don't stay in Manila or Cebu very long.

Manila nightlife

Poblacion, Makati. H&J and Bourbon in particular, plus everything mentioned above in this area. By far the best area.

Try church

Go to a church of your choice. You'll meet more decent women there, not at a bar.
