I had the best vacation of my life in the Philippines. ๐ต๐ญ โค๏ธ
I went for the first time for a friend's wedding and stayed an extra 10 days, 18 days in total. Best vacation of my life. I did a bit of everything โ hiking, beaches, Red Horse, and karaoke (lots of it). Zero bad experiences.
The people were the highlight for me. The warmest, friendliest vibe. Several times, groups of strangers at k-bars invited me to sit, drink, eat and sing with them, and they wouldn't let me pay for a thing. Honestly the coolest people I've ever met.
Now I'm thinking about a trip of a few months next year to explore as much as I can.
My Canadian bosses came to my wedding in March. Afterwards we (our families) went to Palawan for almost two weeks, and they swore they were blown away. One of them is planning to come back for at least six months next time.
Wow, the Philippine government is really pushing tourism
