Hi everyone, how do you all get home Wi-Fi here? I've been here for almost six weeks, found a decent place in a quiet neighborhood, and I want to set up Wi-Fi. The problem is that just south of Lipa City, where I live, the 4G signal is spotty and there's no 5G yet, so I'd prefer fiber if possible. There's already a fiber cable going into the house, but every provider asks for a Philippine ID, and I don't have one yet since I'm still on an extension waiver.

I don't mind whether it's prepaid, postpaid, or pay-as-you-go. I just need it to be stable. I also looked into Starlink, but the price seems too high for what it offers. Any help would be appreciated.

If you need a Philippine ID, go to the LTO office and get a Philippine driver's license. It only takes half a day.

I've been retired for 25 years. I've tried all the telcos. Do yourself a favor and switch to Starlink to get away from the rip-off prices. It'll be super popular after the typhoon passes lol

Hi! I'm from Ripacity. My Wi-Fi is Globe fiber. I can help you if you want.
