How is everyone doing? Are you able to keep up with these prices lately?

With the cost of essentials, groceries, utility bills, and just about everything else constantly going up, I'm genuinely curious how everyone is managing their money these days.

For those of you who work for a company, run a small business, or support a family, are you still able to save anything after covering all your expenses? For small business owners, are you still hanging in there, or have sales dropped because people are spending less?

I know everyone's situation is different depending on income, where you live, and lifestyle. I'm just curious about the reality on the ground. How are you getting by with living costs these days? Are you still doing okay financially, or have things gotten a lot harder recently?

I'd love to hear honest experiences, whether positive or negative.

This economy makes you feel financially irresponsible just for buying basic necessities like food. It's insane

I did one job and earned 5k from that single meeting, and all of it went to diesel. Fuck. Not even enough change left to buy McDonald's.

Eat out less. Cook at home more. Even with prices going up, this is how I'm still saving money

As a small business owner- what I earn is just enough. The quarterly taxes and annual renewal fees hurt too, since I earn so little. As a daughter and former breadwinner- 10k used to fill a grocery cart, now it doesn't. So it makes me feel bad, like I'm going back to my old extreme frugality. As a housewife (my husband is a seafarer)- his salary is big, but I always think that one somewhat serious illness and one hospital stay could wipe out our savings right away. TL;DR: 1M pesos now feels like 100-200k
