Hi, I'm planning to go to Manila for the first time for an event. Could you recommend a good transportation app to use in Manila? I'm wondering how to get from Ninoy Aquino airport to a hotel near Ortigas. Also, is it safe to get around near the Jinjiang Inn in Ortigas at around 5 a.m.? Is it easy to get a ride-hailing car or a taxi? Thanks for your replies, I really appreciate the help ๐
Filipino here. Never take a taxi, they'll charge you outrageous fares. Always use Grab
Grab. I've used it and never had a problem. I've heard of InDrive too, but I've never used it โ a lot of people here recommend it, though.
Download Grab and set up an account linked to your credit card before you arrive
The Grab app. 5 a.m. is safe enough โ the city's already awake by then.
If you've booked the hotel, there's a shuttle service that can pick you up at the airport
