Helga makes money off homeless kids, yet says giving them money for food is bad
These kids are very poor and probably homeless, and she's telling people not to give them money for food because it teaches them not to work for a living. They look about five years old, and a lot of kids like this grow up in areas where the economy isn't great, so they don't get a fair start in life to begin with. Yet at the same time she's literally making money off these kids (she gets paid for views on Facebook). I'm kind of on the fence about this, what do you all think? Couldn't she at least have bought them some food for helping her make content? Besides her expat boyfriend, that's probably her only or main source of income.
Personally, as a foreigner, I never give money. I did once, and 10 minutes later I saw them sniffing glue. If it's one or two kids and I'm at Jollibee, I'll buy them a meal, but around my house I always have something to do
Her and her BS, and all these vloggers who romanticize poverty. I hope they all go to hell
I heard those towel girls are part of a bigger crime syndicate. All the money gets funneled to the mother and then used for bigger crimes. No idea if it's true though
Remember, it's not your country. Who cares if they prey on each other, it's not your problem.
