I didn't even realize Marty had a signature walk until I saw it perfectly copied in this video.
It's as iconic as the Tom Cruise sprint or the Tom Hardy walk. I bet there are tons out there people would recognize without realizing they could.

Damn time travelers, they always show up.
I was at a Renaissance fair once, and all the medieval role-players were trash-talking a group of guys dressed in Star Trek gear. Truly hateful stuff. I always assumed 'time travelers' were generally welcome, but apparently not at the one I went to.
There are purists who hate people showing up in historically inaccurate Renaissance outfits. Others would at least like you to try to dress Renaissance-ish, and aren't fond of street clothes, cell phones, utilikilts and so on. And of course there are those who welcome everyone, who are just there to experience and enjoy it.
The way he looks around and almost breaks into a run is perfect.
