Hello, fellow expats!

Is there by any chance a safe way to buy from a FB ad? I tend to get scammed. I mean buying a laptop directly from a shop? They don't take credit cards.

Go to a mall. Plenty of choices, and they take credit cards

Cash on delivery. And when the delivery guy arrives, film yourself opening the package (before you pay).

I do buy things on Facebook. Our village has a few marketplace pages, which started during the lockdown. Things I buy on Facebook: Eggs Bread Snacks I always pay by GCash after delivery, never before For a laptop, always buy from a physical store. I often buy from Octagon in the mall. Always ask for a better price
