You did something that could become a lifelong trauma.
This one has a 99 survival instinct.
That's why they keep people out of the basement, since it's where they keep the best stuff (and the murder scene).
Or maybe it's a failed detection roll.
I like this one, since it didn't seem like they were trying to tease the kid on purpose.
Right? If they were doing it on purpose, they would've grabbed the kid's ankle when he ran toward the railing.
I love how the kid's crying gets fainter and fainter as he runs away 🤣🤣🤣
The more you say "it's not a murder basement," the more it sounds exactly like one.
When I was around kindergarten age, my older brother set up a cross made from a black plastic bag and a stick in the yard. He said it would bring ghosts. Damn, I don't remember anything from that age, but I do remember having nightmares for days. In the end my parents made my brother take it down. I cried nonstop for days.
The ghost probably saw you crying. Loser.
When I was very young, I'm sure I was under ten, my aunt made me hate basements for life. My family was super devout, so talk of devils and Satan was part of everyday life. On top of that, we had a creepy unfinished basement, and in the very back, next to the washer and dryer, a light bulb literally hung from a cord. My aunt told me to go down to the basement and turn off that creepy bulb. I had to walk back to the stairs through almost total darkness. There was one light upstairs too, but the switch was on the other side of the door (in the kitchen). I turned off the bulb and hurried to the stairs. I started climbing, and my aunt yelled "Oh my god, there's a demon behind you!!!!" slammed the door shut, and turned off the light. I must have grown wings or set a world record for vertical jumping, because half a second later I was at the top of the stairs trying to open the door. But I couldn't open it. My aunt was holding the door and laughing her head off, and I was screaming and crying, thinking I was going to die. It wasn't until my grandma scolded my aunt that they let me out. I still haven't forgiven my aunt.
