Hello, I converted my foreign driver's license to a Philippine driver's license that covers four-wheeled vehicles. I want to learn how to ride a motorcycle. Do I need to get a student license, or can I just use my current license?

For a motorcycle, you need Category A on your Philippine license. If you've never ridden a motorcycle, to ride legally here you have to take a course and pass a simple practical test and a written test.

I got stopped about 5 times in my Suzuki van and my US license worked without any problem.

My Canadian license only got transferred for one category, not sure why. I paid for the motorcycle course but never actually attended it. I took the written test and a 50-foot road driving test. It was all done in one afternoon.

Just take your license to the LTO and add the motorcycle code.
