Has anyone actually scored a cheap fare in Cebu Pacific's 'Piso Sale'?
They keep advertising these 'piso fare' sales where the 'base fare' is 10 pesos, but once you get through checkout the price is pretty much the same. I was just wondering if anyone has actually gotten a cheap fare from one of those sales.
Yes, here's a one-way MNL-NRT fare. The base fare is only 10 pesos, but the taxes and fuel surcharge are pretty steep. Before the Middle East war this would have been only around 1,500 to 2,000. Seats are very limited, and you're up against a lot of other people hunting for cheap fares.

I've always seen it as a marketing ploy. You might really get that base fare, but after the add-ons it's pretty much the same.
Cebu Pac is the worst. A fraudulent, low-quality airline.
