Can anyone recommend a way to get a US phone number while I'm in the Philippines? Either an eSIM or an unlocked phone, anything works. Thanks in advance.

Ask a relative or friend in the US to create a T-Mobile (or other carrier) account and add you as an authorized user. Then you can get a SIM or eSIM and set up billing.

If you're only using it for work, don't you work on a computer? You can use WhatsApp or Google Voice. It's VoIP.
