You can ban Facebook, but gambling ads are fine to run right out in the open? Great government, really.

Because there are too many fools here🤷‍♂️ There are three types of gamblers: 1. Pros: the rarest. Playing gambling games is literally their job (some are even employed by casinos) 2. Thrill seekers: people with money to spare. They can afford it, so they gamble and chase the rush of anticipation 3. Aspirants: the most common. People who see gambling as their salvation to change their luck or fate (including people who play the lottery) Most Filipino gamblers are #3, and that was true even before online gambling. When I first learned about jueteng in the 90s and asked someone placing a bet why, they said "you never know, maybe I'll win..." Online gambling just makes it more accessible and, at the same time, harder to track (that's why many people blow all their money or credit card limits on online gacha. It's hard to manage). P.S. But honestly, online gambling is good for TraPOS. They earn money through taxes, and by bankrupting citizens they make them dependent on ayuda. Two birds with one stone! 🪨🕊️🕊️

They got rid of the Chinese POGOs and replaced them with government-approved online casinos.
