Is anyone here living in both the Philippines and the United States 🇺🇸 and working for a US company? I'd really appreciate any connections or information you can share on this! Thanks in advance ☺️

I need to work remotely for a US company, otherwise it doesn't work out. The salary in the Philippines seems way too low.

How many years of experience do you have in IT or software development?

I run a credit card payment processing company in the US and I like it here. But why would I hire a much more expensive Westerner for the same job when I can hire a Filipino remotely for $500 to $800 a month? Plus, Filipinos work longer hours. Just curious.

Some of my former IT colleagues use a trick to work remotely with a US IP address. Even if the company bans working from abroad, it can hide your actual location. Put a personal US proxy or a Raspberry Pi (a lightweight server like PiVPN) at a friend's or family member's home in the US, since commercial public VPNs get blocked.
